Give the Gift of LIFE
WHY: Latinos, Hispanics, Mexican Americans are very under represented in the bone marrow registry. Even less well represented are the children of a mixed ethnicity, like Caucasian and Latino parents. Many in this ethnic group die needlessly because of the lack of a bone marrow donor.
WHO: If you are Latino, Hispanic, Mexican American, and especially if you or someone you know is of mixed ethnicity with one parent being Caucasian and the other being Latino, Hispanic, and or Mexican American, you just might be the one to save a life of a child in desperate need.

There will be Donor Drives at the following locations in the coming weeks. There will be fun and activities for the whole family. It only takes 10 minutes
of your time and a painless cheek swabbing to register without any fee
at these events, and maybe YOU CAN BE THE ONE to save a life.
Hispanics are especially needed in the donor registry, as they
unfortunately wait a MUCH longer time for a match. Many die while
waiting. We can change this by registering as potential donors. If we
don't save our own children, who will? Because a donor match is based
upon the genetics found within ethnic groups, . . . nobody else can.
Tell your friends and neighbors. Thank you and hope to see you there.
